Place an empty bobbin on the bobbin winder.

Place a spool of thread onto the spool pin.

Following your machine's instructions, bring the top thread through the guides, looping around a bobbin winder pre-tension stud.

Pull your thread through the guides leaving enough thread to wrap around the bobbin

Secure the thread to the bobbin by winding it around 2-3 times or threading through a hole on the bobbin.

Press in your bobbin winder, depending on your machine some may have a separate button to turn on the bobbin winding motor.

Press the foot pedal to begin winding.

Watch the bobbin as it winds up, the thread should be evenly dispersed and snug on the bobbin.

Release the foot pedal before the winding thread sticks out past the bobbin diameter or depending on your machine, the bobbin winder will automatically stop when done and click out of place.

Cut the bobbin from the top thread, trimming any trailing thread.

Remove the bobbin from the bobbin winder.
